Request the removal of your ToadOps account and associated personal data
What happens when you delete your account
When we process your deletion request, the following actions are taken:
- Deleted: Your account details, email address, and display name
- Deleted: Device registrations, device settings, and event logs
- Deleted: Push notification subscriptions
- Decommissioned: Any registered ToadTurret hardware devices (they will stop communicating with the server)
Data retained in anonymised form
Detection images captured by your ToadTurret may have been used to train our wildlife detection models. These images are anonymised when your account is deleted. All links to your account are permanently removed. The anonymised images may be retained to continue improving detection accuracy. They cannot be linked back to you after this process.
Sighting records and image flags are also anonymised rather than deleted, so that aggregate data (such as regional detection patterns) remains available for conservation purposes.
Processing time
We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been removed.
